Happy Everyone!

I am so ready for ! This is a bit strange for us. We are typically with the kids, at the In-laws or the kids with us. This year it’s quiet with no plans. Hubby got up early and went to the grocery store, then surprised me with a fabulous breakfast and a bowl full of Jelly Beans and Dove Dark Chocolate eggs. *drool*

Yes, he even made the pastry tart from scratch! It was filled with pears and blueberries done in a rum, sherry reduction with fresh creme! I have no idea what this plant is called, but these flowers are featured a lot in Art Nouveau (which I love) so I was pleasantly surprised to find it in our courtyard!

I hope each of you have a great day, celebrating in whatever way you do. :)

Ash, I do believe that flowering plant you like so much is called ‘mountain laurel’ which may be the common name and not the proper name. Your DAY LOA friend, Kate
