Don’t ya love serendipitous occurrences? I sure do. Actually, I love using and saying the word, serendipitous, plus one of my favorite movies is Serendipity.

I just had a serendipitous moment. I was playing with a new paisley design. It started out as a tropical design and was heading in the psychedelic direction when all of a sudden…PRESTO! Whoa! Look what just happened!

It looks like an Asian princess (or hmmm..an Indian Princess?) with a great headress and robe and jewelry. Maybe because the series “Avatar- The Last Air Bender” has been on a lot here at my house, that is what we see….what do you see?

In most of my abstract paintings, you can find a female figure. Not because I planned it that way, it just always happens.

I’ve been sitting here picking out other little images within this…what do you see?

I’m calling her Princess Fortitous for right now…will ask my Japanese friend what the japanese word for fortuitous would be.

Not sure what I will do with her yet…but it is fun to stare at her and see what all is in there!
