Goddess Journey- Out with Resolutions, in with Intentions!!

It is a new year. A blank book for us to write in. We will create our life with our desires and words. The possibilities and opportunities are waiting for us.

I am!!
I spent the first day of this year working on some new designs and playing with my puppy.
I did write out my list of wishes for 2008 and things keep popping into my head that I am adding to it.
One of the focuses for this site for this year will be on Journaling.
I started journaling many years ago and did a lot of reading on the types of journaling. It has come a long way since then!
I want to get back to it as I have seen in my own life how powerful our words and intentions are, especially when we put them on paper.
I’m not a big fan of resolutions that we make then break a few weeks later, instead, I like setting intentions. Putting it “out there” as to what I would like to do differently in my life. When we set an intention, such as saying….”In 2008, I will travel and enjoy a foreign country”, it sets things up inside of us with our higher self to start creating the possibility of that to happen.

Today, it is snowing. It is such a beautiful sight to see outside my studio window!
One of the things on my list today is to create a collage of where I am right now.
I have a huge assortment of magazines. I am going to take some time to just pull out images that I am attracted to. In doing this, we don’t need to know “why” we are moved by the image, we just pull out what calls to us and then glue it all down on either poster board or some heavy weight paper, carboard, or really anything you wish to glue it to!
Don’t censor yourself, just let the images speak to you.
The cool part is that when you are done you can see where your inner self is - what is calling to you? What needs to be addressed? Any surprises?
It is exciting to see what pops up!
