Good Day Paisley Lovers!!
How are you today? I am enjoying that we have had some very beautiful summer days lately. Low humidity, clear blue skies, a light breeze and only in the mid 80’s. I feel very fortunate that I can open up my windows and not have to run my air conditioning.
The days have definitely been busy, I’m back in the studio finishing some old projects and starting some new ones.
But, I have been craving something and here is what gets me each day…..when I step out of my place to walk my dog, I hear all of these air conditioning units running (I live in a small apartment complex) and the sound reminds me of my days of lifeguarding and swimming pools as the sound is like a pool filter…then my thoughts go to our vacations at the beach and time water skiing on a nearby lake and THAT is what I am craving! I want to be near water!
So, yeah, thats where my mind has been and hence the Paisley by the Sea theme I have going here.
Luckily, I have a hubby who pays attention and he has surprised me with a little trip to a South Carolina island to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. (My bday and our anniversary is on the same day…word of advice: never schedule your wedding on your birthday!)
We will be renting a historical house and spending time kayaking and time at the beach!
I can’t wait!
And in keeping with my craving and theme, here is my latest design from my Enchanted Girl shop called Waves and Fish Paisley. These pretty paisley look like fish frolicking in a circle of deep blue ocean waves.
